The Soul of the South Sports Foundation S.O.U.L Scholarship supports education-first student-athletes as they transition from high school into post-secondary opportunities.

S.O.U.L Scholarship Program
This scholarship is administered by the
Soul of the South Sports Foundation, an independent 501(c)(3)
nonprofit organization. The Foundation operates
separately from Soul of the South Sports LLC.
The Soul of the South Sports Foundation S.O.U.L. Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to student-athletes who demonstrate academic readiness, leadership, and sustained commitment to Scholarships, Opportunities, Unity, and Legacy (S.O.U.L).
This scholarship supports students pursuing post-secondary education at accredited colleges, universities, community colleges, or trade institutions. Awards are competitive and based on a comprehensive review of academic performance, leadership impact, and alignment to the S.O.U.L pillars.
The Foundation is currently building its scholarship fund and finalizing award details to ensure a meaningful investment in each recipient.
Recipients will be notified via email and formally recognized by the Soul of the South Sports Foundation. Funds are disbursed directly to the recipient's institution and may be applied toward tuition, fees, or approved educational expenses, are non-transferable, and must be used during the awarded academic term.

Eligibility Requirements
Eligibility is determined by the Soul of the South Sports Foundation Scholarship Committee.

Be a graduating high school senior enrolled at a Louisiana high school.

Be accepted to in an accredited Louisiana public or private college/university, or Louisiana community/technical college, or Accredited trade/credential program (industry-recognized)

Plan to enroll at least full-time (12+ hours)

Be a student-athlete in good standing with your school team.

Minimum cumulative 2.75 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.

At least a 20 on the ACT

Applicants must demonstrate impact in at least TWO of the four S.O.U.L pillars

S -- Scholarships/Academics: academic effort, improvement, academic leadership

O -- Opportunities: using athletic/education to open doors (clubs, internships, career exploration, mentoring)

U -- Unity: team-first mindset, service, peer resolution, campus/community involvement
