Hurdler
He started in Stonewall, Louisiana, small town in northwest Louisiana that doesn’t show up on anybody’s recruiting radar. No major programs down the road. No pipeline to the Southland Conference’s top track programs. Just a high school kid who could clear hurdles faster than almost anyone in the state. Now? Southland Conference Champion and the recipient of a Business Management degree from Southeastern Louisiana University. An athlete who transferred once, competed at two programs, missed two years in the very event he was built for — and still won.

BEGINNING OF THE LEGACY
Stonewall, Louisiana. A place most people pass through on the way somewhere else. But for Olu… it’s where everything started. He began hurdling in 6th grade. Not the kind of athlete trying things out; the kind who sees a barrier and feels wired to clear it. At North DeSoto High School, track wasn’t just a sport, it was the first place he learned who he was.
