Rules & Eligibility

  • All players shall play for only one team. Teams will not be permitted to participate until all fees have been paid.

  • All teams must wear basketball jerseys during their games. Each jersey must have the same color and they must have numbers. Basketball shoes must be worn. All jewelry must be removed. Necklaces, earrings and watches can not be worn during the game.

  • Each participating team must have an adult coach on the bench at all times.

  • Games will consist of 4 – 8 minute running halves. The time only stops for injuries and timeouts. Each team gets 4 timeouts per game.

  • Pre-game is 5 minutes and halftime is 3 minutes, but may be shortened at the discretion of the referees and tournament officials in order to keep games on time.

  • Tie Game — 3 minute overtime for all games (no time outs for either team, even if they have some left).  If there is still a tie after one overtime, it goes to sudden death – the first team to score wins.  All overtimes start with a jump ball.

  • No harassment of officials, players or coaches will be tolerated. Any violation of this will result in the removal of that person without refund of money.
