Olu has participated in organized sports through high school and college basketball. As a father, he has coached his sons in football, baseball, track, and basketball. Olu was afforded the opportunity to attend college on an athletic scholarship. He values the importance of living out your dreams without financial worries.

Natashia Ogunyemi
President
Natashia is an educational administrator and values the benefits of receiving a higher education. Although she was not offered any scholarships, she wants others to have scholarship opportunities. As a mom, she has watched her children participate in organized sports and reap the benefits of teamwork and athletic competition.
Founded in 2022 by a firefighter and an educator, Soul of the South Sports is a sporting events organization.
The Chief Executive Officer is an ex-athlete from high school and college while the President is a passionate educator focused on improving the lives of the youth. They believe it is the inherent right of every high school student to have a multitude of options after graduation.
Driven by their desire to create opportunities for today’s youth, they want to offer scholarships to students who have demonstrated academic excellence and leadership potential.
